Boys & Girls U9 & U10 Academy and U11 - U19 Competitive
The Broken Arrow Soccer Club (BASC) is pleased to announce the BASC Labor Day Invitational Soccer Tournament. This tournament has been sanctioned by the Oklahoma Soccer Association and will be held August 31,September 1, 2, 3 for U9 & U10 Academy teams and all age divisions U11 - U19. The tournament is being planned for "pure age" divisions (assuming there are at least 6 teams in each age division). The games will be played at the Indian Springs Sports Complex located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Preliminary games will be held on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday with playoffs scheduled for Monday, Sept. 4. Only local teams may play Friday night games.
All teams and tournament participants must abide by the Oklahoma Soccer Association's and US Youth's policies, rules, and regulations and are subject to their disciplinary actions.
Any teams wishing to participate in the tournament that are not US Youth members will be required to provide proof of medical & liability insurance. Any team that cannot provide such proof will be required to purchase the Oklahoma Soccer Association's event insurance.
Competition will be offered for both girls and boys in the following age divisions.

BASC LABOR DAY INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
General Information
GAMES
Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) scheduled matches. All Semi-finals and Finals will be held on Monday of the scheduled tournament weekend. Preliminary round matches for some local teams will begin on Friday night under the lights. All games will be held at the Indian Springs Sports Complex located in South Broken Arrow.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event the Tournament is cancelled, whether in whole or part, the Tournament Committee is not responsible for any expenses incurred by any team. However, a portion of the entry fee may be refunded after out-of-pocket expenses are deducted.
AWARDS
Champion and Runner-up team plaques and individual player medals will be given in each age division.
HOUSING
Housing will not be provided. A list of hotels and motels can be found on the BASC web site.
TEAMS & ROSTERS
This tournament is for U9 & U10 Academy teams and tournament or regular club teams playing in top competitive leagues or divisions in the U11-19 age divisions. The maximum number of players on each U9 & U10 Academy team or in the U11 division is 14. Academy teams and U11 teams will play 8-aside. The maximum number of players on each 12-16 team is 18. The maximum number of players on a U-17 through U-19 team is 22. Each player must have a current player pass available for inspection before each match. There are no guest players allowed for Academy teams. Each U11-19 team is allowed up to three (3) guest players. All guest players must be registered with the USSF Affiliate of the team for which they are guest playing and meet other tournament requirements. Guest players should have guest player forms or be noted at the bottom of the team rosters. No older players will be allowed to play on a team registered to compete in a younger age division.
PRE-TOURNAMENT COMMUNICATION, ACCEPTANCE, SCHEDULES, & RULES
All communication with teams after they have entered the tournament will be done by website information.
The website is: www.brokenarrowsoccerclub.org All tournament information including acceptance, tournament rules, schedules, maps, etc will be posted on the website. Keep checking it periodically.
REFEREES
If you have one or more referees from your team that would be interested in working when your team is not playing, please include a list of their names and telephone numbers with your application so our referee coordinator may contact them.
APPLICATION & ENTRY FEE
Entry fee is $350 per team for all age divisions. A separate check for each team's entry fee and application must be received no later than August 18, 2007 to be considered. In addition to the entry fee check a separate check in the amount of $100 should also be included with the application. This check will not be deposited unless the Tournament Director deems the team to not be in good standing at the end of the tournament and has not forfeited any games. Checks for team in good standing will be destroyed. No checks will be returned. If a team is accepted but fails to attend the tournament, their entry will be forfeited. Checks should be made payable to the BROKEN ARROW SOCCER CLUB and mailed with the completed application to:
